an Italian eatery

featuring casual homey decor and cozy setting

About us

This new Italian eatery features a casual homey décor and cozy setting that sits 75 and is located in Union Square in Manhattan.

The name Pasta Eater is a straight forward recall to the fact that the restaurant strictly serves authentic Italian, freshly-made pasta on the spot or to-go, as well as other genuine products such as focaccia, salads and earth and sea antipasti all made fresh on the premises. The drink menu offers wines from Italy, a full cocktail bar, as well as imported beers.

Pasta Eater is owned and headed by Chef Giusto Priola. Giusto started his career as a restaurateur with the opening of the wildly successful "Cacio e Pepe", he was the first to bring the renowned Cacio e Pepe pasta to the NYC tables. The restaurant is located in the heart of Union Square and its secret weapon is its all-freshly-made pasta menu: a pasta maker will be continuously rolling their pin throughout the day in front of the restaurant's guests.
